I feel like I'm not very good at meeting new people. I don't always know what to say, what to do. Starting conversations feels weird to me. So of course I'm all nervous about going to our first LLL meeting here. It can take me so long to feel comfortable with people. Because the kids are older and want to make friends so badly, I'm going to make an effort to make friends too. It would be nice to have some people to hang out with.
Here's hoping I can find some people who think that the things I do are normal, or at the very least won't be all judgey about it. And I'll try not to be judgey as well. I think there's room in this world for all of us. Well, maybe not the killers. But you know, most everyone else is welcome.
